Virgin Australia Holdings' (ASX:VGN) Chief Financial Officer Race Strauss said that Qatar Airways' acquisition of a 25% stake in the airline will give customers "tremendous international access" and provide significant benefits, the Center for Asia Pacific Aviation reported on Thursday.
The partnership was expected to drive down airfares, create jobs, and improve inbound tourism connections.
