KKR is encouraged by discussion on private investments for retirement, executive says

July 31 (Reuters) - KKR KKR.N is encouraged to hear policymakers are discussing ways to make private investments more available in U.S. retirement plans, and is dedicating resources to it, head of investor relations Craig Larson said on Thursday.

"We do look at it as a very interesting long term opportunity but it is long term and we don't think you should expect this to be like flipping a switch," head of investor relations Craig Larson told analysts on a conference call.

"We are dedicating the resources against this you would expect," Larson added.
