Sector Update: Health Care Stocks Mixed Pre-Bell Thursday

Health care stocks were mixed pre-bell Thursday with the Health Care Select Sector SPDR Fund (XLV) 0.5% lower and the iShares Biotechnology ETF (IBB) recently up 0.4%.

Sanofi (SNY) stock was down more than 6% even after the company posted higher Q2 earnings and net sales.

Bristol-Myers Squibb (BMY) shares were more than 2% lower after the company reported a decline in Q2 non-GAAP earnings.

CVS Health (CVS) shares were up more than 5% after the company posted Q2 non-GAAP earnings and revenue that exceeded analysts' expectations, and raised its 2025 adjusted earnings per share guidance.
