Angkor Resources Corp.'s subsidiary, EnerCam Resources Co. Ltd. (Cambodia), recently met with officials from the Ministry of Mines and Energy and the General Department of Petroleum to propose an expansion of Oil & Gas Block VIII. EnerCam is seeking to add an additional 220 square kilometers to the block to include a potential sub-basin for oil and gas exploration. The technical team, led by Keith Edwards, presented their findings, highlighting the potential of the proposed area in the northeast section of Block VIII. The meeting received a positive response, and a decision is expected within a few weeks, allowing the inclusion of the new area in the current seismic program. Other exploration activities in the region continue without interruption.
