As the lead engineering, procurement, and construction management (EPCM) partner, Fluor will oversee the development of this large-scale mining project. Construction is set to commence later this year and will be executed in two phases, with initial production targeted for 2028. Once fully operational, the site will have a throughput capacity of 90 million tonnes per annum. The project is expected to significantly contribute to Pakistan's economy, particularly benefiting the Balochistan province through job creation and regional economic growth. This generational project will include multiple open-pit mines and processing facilities, producing high-quality copper-gold concentrate over a lifespan extending beyond 40 years.
