公开资料显示，环球新材国际于2024年7月与德国默克签订拟收购全球表面解决方案业务协议，此公告表明相关交易事项顺利落地，正式进入整合阶段。
公告提及，此次策略性收购具有显著业务互补性。整合完成后，集团将加快对全球重点优质市场的渗透，特别是汽车及化妆品领域有望取得突破。同时通过整合双方在高性能材料、化妆品及工业应用领域的专业解决方案，将丰富集团产品组合，提升主营业务竞争力。
