South Korean motor and generator manufacturer HD Hyundai Electric (KRX:267260) secured a contract to supply 13 400 kilovolts and 275kV class transformers to the UK National Grid, according to a Tuesday regulatory filing with the Korea Exchange.
The contract, valued at 140.4 billion won, is valid till Oct. 30, 2030.
The UK National Grid is a high-voltage electricity transmission network across Great Britain.
