政府公布，即日起就本地免费电视节目服务牌照的续期申请，展开为期2个月的公众咨询。电讯盈科(00008.HK) 旗下香港电视娱乐有限公司(ViuTV)、有线宽频(01097.HK) 开电视有限公司及电视广播有限公司(00511.HK) (TVB)的免费电视牌照有效期将于2027及2028年陆续届满，3家持牌机构已向通讯局提交牌照续期申请。
通讯局会对持牌机构的过往表现及续期计划作详细评估，并透过不同方式收集公众意见，考虑持牌机构表现、业界和公众的意见及市场的最新发展等因素，在2026年3月底前就免费电视牌照的续期申请，向行政长官会同行政会议提交建议。(ss/u)(港股报价延迟最少十五分钟。沽空资料截至 2025-08-01 12:25。)
