Symphony's Consolidated Net Profit Drops in Fiscal Q1; Shares Down 3%

Symphony's (NSE:SYMPHONY, BOM:517385) consolidated net profit declined to 420 million Indian rupees in the fiscal first quarter ended June 30 against 880 million rupees a year ago.
Earnings per share contracted to 6.08 rupees compared with 12.76 rupees a year earlier, the air cooler manufacturer said in a Friday filing to the Indian stock exchanges.
Revenue from operations in fiscal Q1 also fell to 2.51 billion rupees from 3.93 billion rupees a year ago.
The company's board declared a first interim dividend of 1 rupee per equity share having face value of 2 rupees each for the financial year 2025‐2026.
Symphony's shares were down over 3% in recent trade.
