消息面上，极智嘉公告，7月30日，完成设立北京极智嘉具身智能科技有限公司，初始注册资本1000万元，其将专注于具身智能技术研发和相关产品业务，包括不限于机械手拣货、通用机器人产品等。集团计划将具身智能技术以及相关通用机器人产品，应用于物流制造等商业对商业业务场景，与集团现有的物流机器人业务紧密协同，并借助于集团现有的品牌和业务网路快速推进技术和产品的广泛商用。
公告称，集团聚焦以仓储履约机器人解决方案为代表的核心业务，推动集团业务增长、盈利及保证财务稳健性，为具身智能等新技术的创新和商用提供持续支援。董事会认为具身智能公司的设立，既能加速新技术的研发与应用推广，又能与现有业务形成有效协同以拓展更广阔发展空间，还能吸引更多人才加入，为集团长远发展奠定坚实基础。
