"This July we sold 957 properties across the Auckland region, which is the highest July sales total for four years," said Peter Thompson, managing director of Barfoot & Thompson.
He noted that over 46% of July sales exceeded NZ$1 million, marking the strongest July for seven-figure sales since 2021.
The median sales price for the month was NZ$950,000, compared with NZ$981,500 in June.
New listings totaled 1,605 properties, up nearly 14% from 1,405 properties in June.
