BlockBeats 消息，8 月 4 日，据官方消息，总部位于硅谷的智能机器基础设施公司 OpenMind 宣布完成 2000 万美元融资，由 Pantera Capital 领投，Ribbit、红杉中国、Coinbase Ventures、DCG、Lightspeed Faction、Anagram、Pi Network Ventures、Topology、Primitive Ventures 和 Amber Group 等多家机构及多位知名天使投资人参投。
OpenMind 由斯坦福大学教授 Jan Liphardt 创立，致力于构建智能机器的通用操作系统与去中心化协作网络，让不同厂商、不同形态的机器人在全球范围内安全互信、共享信息并协同工作。其核心产品包括 OM1 操作系统与 FABRIC 协作协议：前者让各类机器人具备感知、适应与行动能力，后者提供跨平台的身份验证与安全协作。两者结合，为全球机器人打造了开放、安全的“神经系统”。
本轮融资将用于扩大工程团队规模，并与更多制造商合作，将 OM1 与 FABRIC 应用于自动驾驶、智慧制造、养老护理等场景。Pantera Capital 表示，OpenMind 正在为机器人行业构建开放的智能网络，其潜在意义可类比 Linux 之于开源软件，以太坊之于去中心化应用。
