Turaco Gold Reports High-Grade Gold Results From Drilling at Ivory Coast Prospect; Shares Jump 5%

Turaco Gold (ASX:TCG) reported high-grade gold results from extensional drilling at the Adiopan prospect at the Afema project in the Ivory Coast beneath historical shallow drilling, according to a Monday Australian bourse filing.

The company encountered intercepts of 25 meters at 2.7 grams per tonne (g/t) grade of gold from 96 meters and 7 meters at about 3 g/t grade of gold from 146 meters as well as 38 meters at 1.3 g/t grade of gold from 22 meters and 10 meters at 3.7 g/t grade of gold from 90 meters, the filing said.

Resource drilling at the Asupiri deposit confirmed that it remains open at depth and along strike. It drilled 53 reverse circulation and diamond core holes for a total of around 7,600 meters drilled at the Anuiri deposit and Asupiri deposit.

The company's shares jumped past 5% in recent trading on Monday.
