他表示：“我对我们本周早些时候做出的决定充满信心，尽管 7 月份的就业数据弱于预期，但我们必须全面审视数据。当我回顾目前的状况时，我发现劳动力市场基本保持平衡。再次强调，今天的报告只是一份报告，在通胀仍然过高的情况下，监测劳动力状况至关重要。”
