8月1日，《每日经济新闻》记者从中国移动获悉，公司在广东开通了我国首条反谐振空芯光纤商用线路，实现了我国自主研发、具备完全自主知识产权的反谐振空芯光纤从技术原型到实际应用的跨越。

据中国移动方面介绍，在技术指标上，该线路展现出三大领先优势：此次商用部署的空芯光纤重点优化深港证券交易所数据中心间的双向数据传输时延；数据在此线路传输过程中损耗小于0.09dB/km（光衰计量单位，光衰是指光在光纤中传输时发生的损耗而引起的信号强度下降），相较于当前市面上常用的光纤损耗降低7.6倍；采用气体替代石英导光，使得光信号在光纤中传输非线性降低超1000倍。
