IT之家 7 月 31 日消息，英伟达今日宣布，从 2025 年 10 月起，将不再为 Maxwell、Pascal 或 Volta GPU 架构提供新的 Game Ready 图形驱动程序更新（10 月发布最终版驱动）。

这意味着 GTX 900 和 GTX 10 系列 GeForce GPU，包括虽然老旧但仍然广受欢迎的 GeForce GTX 1060 等显卡，将不再获得针对新游戏的优化驱动程序。

不过，Maxwell、Pascal 和 Volta 系列 GPU 在 2025 年后不会被完全放弃。英伟达表示，这些显卡将继续获得每季度发布的安全更新，直到 2028 年 10 月。这些更新不会优化性能或修复新游戏中的任何错误，但会修复安全漏洞。

此外，英伟达宣布将在 2026 年 10 月停止对 Windows 10 系统的所有驱动程序支持。这是微软正式宣布的 Windows 10 结束支持日期的一年后。

IT之家注意到，英伟达早在今年 1 月份就宣布，Maxwell、Pascal 和 Volta 架构的 CUDA 支持已经“功能完善”并被冻结，这是自 2021 年以来英伟达首次停止对老旧 GPU 的支持。

而系统方面，根据 Steam 硬件调查，截至 2025 年 6 月，Windows 10 系统仍然驱动着超过三分之一的 PC，而 Windows 11 的比例略超过 60%。
