BlockBeats 消息，8 月 2 日，据 AXIOS 报道，白宫高级经济学家 Stephen Miran 称，一个重要的经济统计机构需要“新的视角”，但他没有重复特朗普总统关于周五就业数据存在政治操纵的说法。特朗普周五下令解雇劳工统计局局长（非农数据发布机构），此前他在没有证据的情况下声称，令人失望的就业数据是“被操纵的”。该局后来证实，局长 Erika McEntarfer 被解雇，其副手 William Wiatrowski 将担任代理局长。
