美联储周五宣布，Adriana Kugler将辞去理事一职。
“能在美联储理事会任职是我一生的荣耀，”Kugler在美联储发布的声明中表示，“特别是在这样一个关键时期，为实现物价稳定与充分就业这一双重使命而努力令我感到尤为自豪。”
Kugler的任期原定于2026年1月结束。
财政部长贝森特此前暗示，政府可能先提名一人接替Kugler的理事席位，再进一步提名这个人出任主席。
Kugler自2023年9月起担任美联储理事。美联储表示，她的辞职将于8月8日生效。Kugler将返回乔治城大学担任教授职务。
