【Coinbase CEO：曾尝试聘用Vitalik，但因美国移民政策未能如愿】金色财经报道，Coinbase首席执行官Brain Armstrong在X平台发文透露，曾在2013年美国圣何塞比特币会议上见过Vitalik Buterin，当时他正在为比特币杂志Bitcoin Magazine撰稿（他的文章写得很棒），几个月后邀请他来Coinbase位于旧金山的第一个办公室参观，他用笔记本电脑展示了一些很酷的东西，因此决定尝试聘请他，于是联系Vitalik Buterin，看看他是否有兴趣加入Coinbase，但由于一系列原因，包括他无法在美国获得工作签证，最终未能如愿，他不得不返回加拿大。Vitalik Buterin在加拿大滞留期间创建了以太坊，所以，从某种程度上来说，美国不完善的移民制度促成了以太坊的诞生。
