Eicher Motors's (NSE:EICHERMOT, BOM:505200) consolidated attributable profit rose to 12.1 billion Indian rupees in the fiscal first quarter ended June 30, against 11.0 billion rupees a year ago.
Earnings per share came in at 43.89 rupees compared with 40.11 rupees a year earlier, according to a post-market hours filing on Thursday by the automobile manufacturer.
Revenue from operations in fiscal Q1 also increased to 50.4 billion rupees from 43.9 billion rupees a year earlier.
