“高价砖头”索尼PS5开发机现身二手平台，要价6700美元
IT之家 8月4日消息，玩家owenamazing555今天在Reddit论坛表示，他在二手平台上看到了一台要价6700美元（IT之家注：现汇率约合48225元人民币）的索尼PS5开发机。
而玩家JamesLondonBritish回复道，索尼已经将这些机器远程封锁，故这些开发机都是“砖头”，买回家也没用。同时另外几位玩家也给出了具体解答，汇总如下：
PS5开发机的官方价格大约是1000美元（现汇率约合7198元人民币），如果不是为了研究自制（Homebrew）软件开发，6700美元（现汇率约合48225元人民币）的价格一点也不值。
使用这台开发机不仅需要本体，还需要有效的 PS 开发者账户、SDK / API 工具用于连接、调试和上传构建游戏，缺少这些工具的话这台机器基本上就不可用
索尼有权在开发授权过期、机器被盗的情况下远程封锁开发机，封锁后的机器基本上等于一块砖头
但也有玩家认为，这台开发机的深V造型“很酷”，有点像“披萨烤盘”。而在2024年曾有人将一台PS5开发机称作“披萨烤盘套装”拍卖，最终在eBay平台以6500欧元（现汇率约合54015元人民币）的价格拍出。
