Mainland Headwear Flags Rise in H1 Profit

Mainland Headwear (HKG:1100) said it expects its H1 profit to rise year over year, according to a Hong Kong bourse filing Thursday.

Shares of the headwear products maker jumped nearly 8% in recent Friday trade.

The company expects attributable profit of at least HK$58 million for the six months ended June 30, compared to HK$35.3 million in the year-ago period.

The company expects to post its results later this month.
