7月31日周四，Reddit公布的Q2财报显示，总营收年增78%至5亿美元，高于预期的4.25亿美元；净利润8900万美元，扭转了去年同期的1千万美元的亏损，且是分析师预期的3600万美元的两倍有余；每股获利0.45美元，高于预期的0.19美元。
更积极的消息是，Reddit预计三季度的收入将达到5.35美元至5.45亿美元，中值超过市场预期的4.73亿美元。
这家在去年3月上市的公司一直保持对AI广告技术投资的热情，希望在广告市场中抢夺Meta和谷歌等巨头的份额。虽然广告市场依然由少数企业主导，但广告商越来越多地转向包括TikTok和Reddit在内的提供先进AI技术驱动的广告创建工具的公司。
Reddit高层指出，公司的活跃广告商基础一直在很好地增长，且多数增长仍来自保留良好的现有广告商。 Reddit对销售团队、广告堆栈和路线图所做出的努力正在发挥作用。
Emarketer分析师表示，Reddit终于找到了一种既能盈利、又能有效利用用户流量的方法，而不是只是单纯地积累流量。
周五盘前，Reddit股价大涨约15%，有望在今日收复年内全部跌幅（-1.74%）。
