Franklin Resources, Inc., operating as Franklin Templeton, announced that its assets under management (AUM) reached $1.62 trillion as of July 31, 2025, showing an increase from $1.61 trillion at the end of June 2025. The change in AUM was influenced by positive market impacts and stable preliminary long-term net inflows, despite experiencing $3 billion in long-term net outflows specifically from Western Asset Management. Excluding Western Asset Management, the firm saw preliminary long-term net inflows of $3 billion. By asset class, equities accounted for $662.8 billion, fixed income $440 billion, alternatives $257.5 billion, and multi-asset investments $184.7 billion. Cash management assets totaled $72 billion. Western Asset Management, a part of Franklin Resources, reported a decrease in AUM to $234 billion from $238 billion in June 2025, with the decline attributed to the net outflows and adverse market conditions.
