路透北京8月8日 - 据当地媒体报道，在中国西南部，一辆由百度 9888.HK萝卜快跑出租车服务运营的自动驾驶汽车在搭载一名乘客时掉入一个深坑。
据《南方都市报》和《华商报》等媒体报道，该事件于周三发生在重庆。报道称，女乘客没有受伤，被当地居民用梯子救出。
中国社交媒体上流传的视频显示，一辆印有百度萝卜快跑标志的白色汽车倒在似乎是一条深沟的底部。当地一位店主告诉《华商报》，施工现场有障碍物和警示标志，但仍不清楚这辆车是如何绕过这些安全措施的。
路透已经核实了社交媒体视频中的地点，但无法得知这辆车是如何到达那里的。
百度周五没有立即回应路透的置评请求。
