Symbotic Inc. (Nasdaq: SYM), a leader in AI-enabled robotics technology for the supply chain, announced its financial results for the third quarter of fiscal year 2025, ending June 28, 2025. The company reported revenue of $592 million, marking a substantial increase from the $470 million reported in the same quarter of the previous year. Symbotic experienced a net loss of $32 million for the quarter, compared to a net loss of $27 million in the third quarter of fiscal year 2024. The adjusted EBITDA for the third quarter of fiscal year 2025 was $45 million, a significant improvement from the $3 million reported in the prior year. Looking ahead to the fourth quarter of fiscal 2025, Symbotic expects revenue to range between $590 million and $610 million, with adjusted EBITDA projected to be between $45 million and $49 million. The company continues to innovate within the supply chain sector, unveiling a next-generation storage structure that is expected to have a temporary short-term impact on revenue due to schedule shifts but is anticipated to contribute to long-term value creation. As of the end of the third quarter, Symbotic's cash and cash equivalents totaled $778 million, reflecting a decrease of $177 million from the previous quarter.
