Silex Systems (ASX:SLX) said Wednesday that the US Nuclear Regulatory Commission has accepted Global Laser Enrichment's (GLE) license application for the planned Paducah laser enrichment facility in Western Kentucky.
GLE, a US-based company, is the exclusive licensee of Silex Systems' SILEX uranium enrichment technology.
The acceptance means that the application is sufficiently complete, allowing the formal technical review to begin, it said.
