彭博社的 Mark Gurman 之前认为，苹果正在研发一款配备 20 英寸显示屏的可折叠 iPad，预计将于 2028 年上市。而分析师 Ross Young 则表示，他预计苹果将在 2026 年或 2027 年推出一款类似平板电脑的可折叠设备，因此可以肯定地说，发布日期存在不确定性。
