Major digital assets rose Monday with Bitcoin (BTC-USD) topping $114,000.
The CoinDesk Market Index, which tracks dozens of digital assets including Bitcoin, rose 1.5% in the past 24 hours. The Nasdaq 100 gained 1.9% in late trading, while the S&P 500 and the Dow Jones Industrial Average both increased 1.4%.
Bitcoin rose 0.3% to $114,762, according to CoinMarketCap data. The most popular cryptocurrency's 24-hour trading volume advanced 6.5% to $54.39 billion.
Ethereum (ETH-USD), the second-largest digital asset by market value, climbed 4.9% to $3,670.
XRP (XRP-USD) gained 4.3%, BNB (BNB-USD) rose 1%, and Solana (SOL-USD) climbed 2.1%. Dogecoin (DOGE-USD) rose 2.6%, and Cardano (ADA-USD) added 2.4%.
The US 10-year Treasury yield stood at 4.196% at 3 p.m. ET Monday, down from 4.216% Friday, while the five-year yield fell to 3.740% from 3.768%.
The total market value of the cryptocurrency industry rose 1.3% in the past 24 hours to $3.75 trillion with trading volume up 18% to $133.8 billion.
