Pavillon Holdings Swings to Loss in H1; Shares Surge 20%

Pavillon Holdings (SGX:596) swung to an attributable loss of SG$991,000 during the first half of the year from an attributable profit of SG$2.3 million a year earlier, according to a Thursday filing with the Singapore Exchange.

Shares of the company surged over 20% in recent trading.

Loss per share stood at SG$0.0007 compared with earnings per share of SG$0.0016 in the comparable period.

Revenue declined 3% year over year to SG$8.7 million from SG$9.0 million, mainly due to a reduction in restaurant revenue.
