智通财经APP获悉，Uranium Energy公司(UEC.US)宣布，其旗下的斯威特沃特铀矿综合设施(Sweetwater uranium complex)已被美国联邦审批改进指导委员会选中，进入快速审批流程，并被指定为透明度项目。周二盘前，该股一度上涨超3%，截至发稿，该股盘前上涨0.87%。
Uranium Energy公司表示，此次审批计划的首要目标是，在现有采矿许可范围内，采用对环境影响较小的原地浸出开采法(In-Situ Recovery，简称ISR)进行铀矿开采，并扩大矿区边界，将位于联邦管理土地上、适合采用原地浸出法开采的相邻矿床纳入其中。
Uranium Energy公司总裁兼首席执行官阿米尔·阿德纳米称：“斯威特沃特项目入选FAST-41计划，进一步凸显了其对美国的重要意义。该项目是实现美国建立可靠基础设施、保障核燃料自主供应目标的关键一环。”
斯威特沃特项目于2024年从力拓集团手中购得。随着怀俄明州粉河盆地和南得克萨斯州业务的推进，斯威特沃特将成为Uranium Energy公司的第三个“中心辐射式”生产平台。
