据彭博社 8月5日报道，美国证券交易委员会（SEC）发布了一项新的加密货币会计指引，允许稳定币当作现金处理。
根据最新指引，企业持有符合一定条件的稳定币，可以将其归类为现金等价物。这些条件包括：稳定币与美元挂钩、能够保障赎回、价值锚定另一类资产等等。
美国SEC关于稳定币的会计处理不仅消除了美元稳定币泡沫的观点或言论，而且有助于推动企业尤其是上市公司持有稳定币，长期将利好美元稳定币的发行商。
目前，全球最大的美元稳定币是USDT，其次是USDC、USDe、DAI、USD1等等。其中，Circle（CRCL）是USDC的发行商，同时也是稳定币第一股。
