Strickland Metals (ASX:STK) said drilling at the Kotlovi prospect, within its Rogozna project in Serbia, encountered zones of gold and gold-base metals, according to a Wednesday filing with the Australian bourse.
Assays received for the first follow-up hole drilled at the prospect showed a gold intercept of 277.3 meters at 1.3 grams per tonne gold equivalent from 337.4 meters, including higher-grade gold zones, the filing said.
Follow-up drilling is underway, focusing on extensions of the mineralized body to determine the potential scale of the discovery, according to the filing.
