Norwest Minerals Starts Air-Borne Electromagnetic Survey at Western Australia Project; Shares Down 8%

Norwest Minerals (ASX:NWM) started an airborne electromagnetic survey over its Marymia East project in Western Australia using the SkyTEM dual-moment system, according to a Wednesday filing with the Australian bourse.

The survey is designed to follow up on gold prospects associated with the Baumgartens Greenstone Belt and boost base metal anomalies found in the northern parts of the project area, the filing said.

It is anticipated to take between five to seven days to complete, according to the filing.

Shares fell 8% in afternoon trade on Wednesday.
