International Business Settlement (HKG:0147) is negotiating with independent third parties for the potential formation of a joint venture firm to be engaged in crypto asset-related businesses, a Thursday Hong Kong bourse filing said.
The property developer provided the update in response to unusual movements in the price and trading volume of its shares.
The parties are yet to enter into a formal contract regarding the JV firm.
The firm has applied for the resumption of trading in its shares, which was halted today, Aug. 7.
