BUZZ-Australia's xReality Group surges after unit wins order from Texas state

** xReality Group XRG.AX soars as much as 58.1% to A$0.049, highest since September 11, 2024; last up 25.8%

** Co, which develops software for mission-critical simulations for military and law enforcement, says unit Operator XR LLC won contract worth up to A$5.7 mln ($3.7 mln) from State of Texas

** Under deal, co's unit will supply its flagship OP2 training systems, portable VR trainer for military and law enforcement to Texas Department of Public Safety

** Co says contract largest order for OP2 systems to date; expects delivery throughout Q2 FY26

** About 15 mln shares traded, ~9x the 30-day avg

** YTD, XRG gains 30%
