The information technology sector jumped almost 2% at midday Tuesday, leading a broad-based rally, with all sectors of the Australian Securities Exchange trading in the green.
The Australian bourse tracked gains on Wall Street as expectations of a September policy rate cut in the US increased. The S&P 500 and Dow Jones indices both closed over 1% higher, while the technology-focused Nasdaq index rose almost 2%.
OpenLearning (ASX:OLL) signed a three-year reseller partnership agreement with Elcom Technology, which will bundle OpenLearning's enterprise learning management system into its offering for corporate clients. The agreement started on Tuesday and has an option to be renewed for two years. There is no exclusivity on either party and no minimum fees payable under the agreement.
