Titan Company's Consolidated Profit Rises in Fiscal Q1

Titan Company's (NSE:TITAN, BOM:500114) consolidated attributable profit rose to 10.91 billion Indian rupees in the fiscal first quarter ended June 30, against 7.15 billion rupees a year ago.

Earnings per share came in at 12.30 rupees compared with 8.06 rupees a year earlier, according to a post-market hours filing to the Indian bourses on Thursday by the watches and accessories company.

Revenue from the sale of products in fiscal Q1 increased to 148.1 billion rupees from 122.2 billion rupees a year ago.
