Nohmi Bosai (TYO:6744) will acquire all shares of Meisei Electric from IHI Corp. for an undisclosed amount, making it a wholly owned subsidiary, according to a Wednesday filing with the Tokyo Stock Exchange.
Shares of Nohmi Bosai rose nearly 2% in recent trade.
The deal supports Nohmi's expansion into broader disaster prevention fields. Meisei Electric develops meteorological and space-related observation systems. Terms were not disclosed.
The share transfer is set for Feb. 2, 2026.
