White Cliff Minerals (ASX:WCN) said that the ongoing reverse circulation (RC) drilling campaign at the Danvers Copper project in Canada observed visible sulphide intervals, more than doubling the known mineralised strike length to over 400 metres, according to a Wednesday filing with the Australian bourse.

Drilling yielded 59 meters of visible sulphide from 56 meters.

The RC rig continues step-out drilling, while a replacement diamond drill crew has started work on the project, the filing said.

First batch of results from the drilling is expected in September, the filing added.

Shares of the company fell 18% on market close.
