Sabre (SABR) shares sank 40% amid heavy trading after the company reported Thursday that its Q2 adjusted net loss and revenue missed analyst estimates.

More than 52.6 million shares traded intraday compared with a daily average of about 5.1 million.

Sana Biotechnology (SANA) said late Wednesday it priced a public offering of 20.9 million shares at $3.35 each for expected gross proceeds of $75 million.

Shares sank 28% following an increase in intraday trading volume to over 26.1 million from a daily average of about 5 million.

Eli Lilly (LLY) raised its full-year outlook and reported stronger-than-expected Q2 results, but its shares dropped 14% as data on its investigational weight-loss pill seemed to disappoint investors.

Over 21.3 million shares traded intraday versus a daily average of roughly 3.7 million.
