Nvidia (NVDA) is facing a new patent infringement lawsuit from ParTec AG and its licensing agent BF exaQC at the Unified Patent Court in Munich, ParTec said Monday.
The case involves alleged infringement of a ParTec patent covering the arrangement and interaction of CPUs and GPUs in AI supercomputers, and seeks to block sales of Nvidia's DGX products in 18 European countries, the company said.
ParTec said it is also seeking damages and disclosure of past sales related to the accused products.
The patent in question is part of ParTec's Modular System Architecture portfolio, which is used in some European supercomputers, the company said.
Nvidia did not immediately respond to MT Newswires' request for comment.
