Zheneng Jinjiang Environment's Attributable Profit Jumps in H1

Zheneng Jinjiang Environment's (SGX:BWM) attributable profit to equity holders during the first half of the year increased to 332.0 million yuan from 206.9 million yuan a year earlier, according to a Saturday filing with the Singapore Exchange.

Shares of the company were up over 2% in recent trading.

Earnings per share rose to 0.2304 yuan compared with 0.1423 yuan in the comparable period.

Revenue grew to 1.82 billion yuan year over year from 1.81 billion yuan, mainly due to increased revenue across all waste-to-energy business segments.
