0220 GMT - Global PMX may benefit from growing demand for its semiconductor and storage devices segments, Daiwa Capital Markets analysts say in a research report. The Taiwanese company's 2Q gross margin beat the brokerage's estimate on a better product mix, with higher revenue contribution from the storage devices, medical and semiconductor segments. The manufacturer of precision metal components aims for its semiconductor and other revenue and medical segments to account for over 30% of 2026 revenue, which are margin-accretive segments. The brokerage upgrades the stock's rating to outperform from hold and raises the target price to NT$182.00 from NT$104.00. Shares are 0.6% higher at NT$165.50. (ronnie.harui@wsj.com)
