由于金价上涨抑制了购买兴趣，本周亚洲主要枢纽的实物黄金需求有所下滑，同时高利率促使部分投资者变现持仓。
孟买金饰批发商Chenaji Narsinghji负责人Ashok Jain表示：“买家对以当前价格购入黄金兴趣不大。事实上，一些投资者正在抛售此前低价购入的金币和金条(gold bars)。”
在印度，国内黄金价格周五报每10克102,100卢比(约合1,165.45美元)，此前曾触及102,191卢比的历史高位。
本周印度经销商报价较官方国内价格(含6%进口税和3%销售税)的溢价区间为每盎司2美元，折扣为9美元，而上周的折扣最高为7美元。
一名孟买私人银行贵金属交易员表示，由于美国总统特朗普的关税政策可能削弱最大市场美国的需求，金饰出口商目前不愿购入黄金。
在最大消费国中国，金条(bullion)交易价格与全球基准现货价格持平至溢价2美元/盎司。上周经销商报价区间为每盎司4.2美元折扣至12美元溢价。
翼丰贵金属(Wing Fung Precious Metals)交易主管Peter Fung表示：“上周我们看到一些买盘兴趣，但本周金价持续上涨，因此购买兴趣减弱。总体而言，我们看到投资者在价格回落时逢低买入。”。
新加坡GoldSilver Central首席执行官Brian Lan表示：“随着金价上涨，我们看到零售和批发端抛售增加。目前更多投资者选择借入黄金，因为价格处于高位。”
据东京交易员透露，日本金条售价较现货价格溢价0.25美元/盎司。
