据21财经，“靴子终将落地，对于中国恒大被除牌退市，市场上普遍具有心理预期，可以说是一个必然结果。”一位熟悉香港上市规则的业内专家介绍说，根据香港《上市规则》中“快速除牌”机制规定，若主板公司的证券连续停牌18个月，香港联交所可取消有关公司的上市地位。上市公司须在停牌后18个月内满足复牌指引要求，方可向香港联交所申请恢复股票交易。中国恒大自2024年1月29日被香港高等法院颁令清盘起停牌，复牌期限已于2025年7月28日届满，由于无法满足复牌指引要求的条件，最终被除牌无可避免。上述专家分析指出，可以看到，这些年香港资本市场正呈现加速新陈代谢的特征，数据显示，2018年至2025年6月底，香港主板上市公司中强制除牌的数量累计达167家，其中2022年至2024年平均每年有30多家，今年上半年有10家。
