8月12日，美国核能公司Oklo公布了2025年第二季度财报。数据显示，Oklo Q2运营亏损为2800万美元，主要由薪酬、一般业务开支及与筹资相关的专业费用，包括约1140万美元的非现金股票薪酬支出。Q2每股亏损为0.18美元，不及市场预期的每股亏损0.12美元，但好于上年同期的每股亏损0.27美元。
Oklo表示，计划在第四季度初提交其Aurora发电站的联合许可证申请的第一阶段文件，预计将在第三季度启动前期建设活动。该公司目标是在2027年底或2028年初实现其第一个核电站的商业化运营。
此外，Oklo宣布与核燃料技术公司Lightbridge(LTBR.US)建立战略合作关系，探讨在Oklo计划的先进燃料制造基础设施内共同设立Lightbridge燃料制造厂的可能性。该场址还将作为先进燃料研发的联合研发中心。
Oklo联合创始人兼首席执行官Jacob DeWitte表示：“我们正在建设有助于推动新型核能开发和部署的基础设施。”“此次合作支持我们利用低混合铀和重新利用的钚等传统材料来加强近期和中期先进反应堆燃料供应的努力。这与联邦政府大力支持国内燃料独立的政策方向高度契合。”
