消息面上，据市场媒体报道，近日，苹果宣布斥资25亿美元(约合179.65亿元人民币)与康宁在美国肯塔基州共建玻璃原片生产线，专供iPhone和Apple Watch。康宁是苹果玻璃原片供应商，在美国、日本、韩国、重庆(新投产)等地均有生产基地。
据悉，蓝思科技是苹果玻璃后道加工供应商，主要生产基地在中国湖南和越南北江。康宁在中国香港、湖南均设有分拨中心对蓝思供货，进行后道加工，蓝思不承担玻璃原片的相关国际运费。本次康宁在美国主要生产新一代材质的玻璃原片，除有利于争取关税豁免外，也有利于蓝思为下一代产品做出更新、更复杂的设计，进一步提升市场竞争力。
