IVD Medical (HKG:1931) has partnered with HashKey under a global strategic cooperation framework to fast-track its "global enhanced Ethereum vault" strategy, according to an Aug. 8 Hong Kong bourse filing.
Shares of the medical equipment manufacturer were up nearly 14% in Monday's recent trade.
The deal will tap HashKey's licensed platforms for ETH trading, cost optimisation, and global liquidity, while enhancing capital allocation for medical R&D and expanding the group's Web3 footprint.
Separately, IVD Medical completed its first ETH reserve purchase, acquiring 5,190 ETH at an average HK$28,798.21 each for HK$149.47 million via HashKey Exchange.
It plans to invest up to HK$880 million in ETH and grow holdings through regular investments, the filing said.
