路透8月12日 - 美国国家公路交通安全管理局周二表示， 福特F.N正在美国召回10.3万多辆F-150皮卡车，原因是车轴螺栓可能断裂，导致车辆侧翻或失去驱动力。
车轴螺栓断裂会损坏轮毂花键，而花键是 将动力从车轴传递到车轮并帮助其旋转的部件 。
美国汽车安全管理局说，损坏的花键可能导致车辆在停车时，在未拉紧 驻车制动器的情况下发生侧翻，或 导致驱动力丧失，从而增加撞车的风险。
报告称，如果后车桥螺栓松动，消费者可能会 听到咔哒声。如果螺栓断裂，他们可能会听到嘎嘎声。
作为补救措施，经销商将免费更换后车轴总成。
